How to choose an Android tv box?

There are so many different android tv boxes on market. It is very difficulty for customers to choose a suitable model.

Actually most tv boxes use Amlogic S905W / S905X / S905X2 / S905X3, RK3229 / 3318 / 3399, Allwinner H3 / H6 etc. And most tv boxes are based on 1g + 8g / 2g + 16g / 4+32g.

1. Hardware

For most families, 2g +16g is enough to watch tv. Even 1g + 8g also work well on most application, besides some big add-ons.

However most tv box vendors use recycled 4 bits ddr3，considering to control cost. Suggest to choose full new original material with 16 bits ddr, will get much more wonderful experience.

For supermarket, Entry level tv box ( Storage: 1g + 8g ) is recommended. However need good material to reduce after-sales service.

2. Firmware

Most traders have not ablitity to supply Firmware debugging, optimization and customization. Such as most vendors who are selling MXQ, X96, A95, H96, etc public models, don't supply any SDK and service base on Android & Linux OS. Firmware will effect tv box performance and customers' experience.

Most vendors only want to use cheaper price to catch market. But they ignore customers experience and loyalty. So when purchasing tv box, please also consider raw material used and software development ability, besides price.
